Meet Toni.... Arbor Station's Heart Hero!

Toni was born with a pretty serious heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). According to the CDC about 1 in every 2518 babies born in the United States each year are born with TOF which is a birth d efect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. Toni had surgery when she was 4 months old. Doctors at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta spent several hours repairing her very tiny heart. Although Toni had to spend twelve days in ICU, her heart was repaired and she made a complete recovery! Doctors say Toni’s outlook is great!
