Bear Run
Due to the school district closing for the next 2 weeks all Fun Run races in the month of March have been postponed. We are discussing potential make up dates with our administration.
Dates for the following races are To Be Determined:
Dorsett Shoals, Holly Springs, and Arbor Station.

Same day registration and race day check-in will begin at 1:30
Arbor Station Elementary

All event courses are at or near Arbor Station Elementary
(off-property courses will be protected by Douglasville City Police Department)

The Bear Run has promoted physical fitness for the Douglas County community for 26 years! We welcome you to come take part in one of the toughest 3K races in town! The Bear Run is not just for the elementary kids, so adults get ready to run and create some memories with your children. We want to make your race experience one that will keep you coming back! Race participants in the 3K (1.8 mile) and the 1 mile race will randomly win FREE smoothies from Tropical Joe's and FREE BBQ sandwiches from Dickey's BBQ.

We will have a shootout contest in the gym to win some great prizes for kids and adults while the race results are being tabulated. Prizes in the past have been bikes, six flags tickets, golf passes, Braves tickets, etc..
If you don't want to try your luck at the shootout, we will have a Silent Auction for those who would like to get away for a couple of days, or would like to go to a sporting event with the family.

Since our race is in the afternoon, we will have the following vendors:
Tropical Joe's will be selling smoothies
Dickey's BBQ will be selling BBQ sandwiches
Stevie B's will be selling pizza by the slice
